Professional Skills
More than sound Academics
In the (required) College and Career Readiness course, taken in the senior year, students become knowledgeable about, and practice, personal management and professional skills that will leverage their success in the post high school world.
Many such skills are embedded in high school classes; others grow as a natural consequence of managing life on a college campus. Self-advocating students who know when and where to ask for guidance, and how to manage time, friendships, work and money can better direct their future energies to learning – to college and personal success.
